Bills’ Week 6 injury report: Which players are questionable vs. Raiders?
Buffalo lists five players as questionable for Sunday, while one key offensive lineman on the depth chart came off a back injury limitation.
The Buffalo Bills entered Week 6 with five players officially tagged as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders: wide receiver DJ Moore (shoulder), wide receiver Joshua Palmer (shoulder), defensive lineman Ed Oliver (knee), cornerback Dee Alford (ankle), and defensive lineman T.J. Sanders (shoulder).
Head coach Joe Brady indicated the team’s approach is to see how the players feel after practice and walkthroughs before deciding whether they can go. He said they would “see how they feel coming off the field,” and that readiness would determine playing status.
Buffalo’s participation timeline through Friday showed Moore and Oliver did not participate in Wednesday or Thursday’s practices, then were limited in Friday’s session. Palmer and Alford were limited during all three practices leading up to Sunday.
Sanders followed a different practice arc, being limited on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to a full participant on Friday.
The Bills also provided an update on offensive tackle Spencer Brown (back), who was limited on Wednesday and upgraded to a full participant on Thursday.
Why It Matters
- If Moore, Palmer, Oliver, Alford, and Sanders clear their respective limitations, the Bills keep multiple impact roles on both sides of the ball intact for a road game.
- Because each player’s practice participation differs, Sunday playing status remains unsettled until the Bills’ final evaluation.
- The Bills’ ability to field those names could affect matchups across Buffalo’s receiving corps, run defense, and cornerback depth.
- With Brown upgraded earlier in the week, Buffalo had at least one offensive line question move closer to resolution ahead of kickoff.
