Denver activated all four players who had been listed questionable heading into Sunday’s game, led by wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and defensive lineman Zach Allen, while safety Talanoa Hufanga remains inactive.
Denver released its final availability list for the Week 8 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, confirming that every Broncos player listed as questionable is active for Sunday’s game.
Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (chest) and defensive lineman Zach Allen (hamstring) are among the four who moved from questionable to active. Both were limited during practice on Thursday and Friday, according to the team’s release.
Also active are tackle Garett Bolles (hip) and safety Brandon Jones (hamstring). The team reported that all four were limited in both Thursday and Friday practices.
Cornerback Pat Surtain II is also officially active and is set to play for the first time since Week 4. The team indicated Surtain was available after he was not assigned a Friday game status.
Safety Talanoa Hufanga is listed among the inactives, having been ruled out for a third consecutive game with a hip injury. Denver also listed quarterback Sam Ehlinger and several others as inactive, including offensive linemen Gavin Ortega and Kage Casey, tight end Dallen Bentley, and defensive linemen Jordan Jackson and Tyler Onyedim. The team noted Ortega was elevated on Saturday from the practice squad to the active roster.
