Cleveland made a pair of roster moves on Tuesday, elevating a BYU rookie tight end and keeping a veteran running back in the practice group.
The Cleveland Browns signed tight end Carsen Ryan from the practice squad to the active roster, adding him to the team’s 53-man group for game-week use.
The move comes with Ryan listed at 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds. The Browns also identified him as a rookie out of BYU and noted he has appeared in seven games this season. He will wear No. 48.
In a separate transaction, Cleveland signed running back Hassan Haskins to its practice squad. The team listed Haskins at 6-foot-2 and 228 pounds, and described him as a fifth-year player out of Michigan.
Cleveland said Haskins was originally drafted in the fourth round by Tennessee in 2022 and that he has appeared in 44 career games across stints with the Titans (2022) and Chargers (2024-25). This season, the Browns said Haskins spent time on New England’s practice squad. He will wear No. 27.
