The Rays’ No. 46-ranked prospect Caden Bodine was named the 2026 Minor League Gold Glove catcher, capping a season defined by a strong caught-stealing rate and improved hitting across multiple levels.
Caden Bodine has been recognized as the 2026 Minor League Gold Glove winner at catcher, an award that honors the best defensive performances across Minor League Baseball.
The honor comes after Bodine logged a 19 percent caught-stealing rate and finished with a.988 fielding percentage in 2026 while staying consistently active behind the plate across four levels.
Bodine also advanced offensively, posting a.342/.410/.517 slash line across those same stops, giving him a two-way Gold Glove case that combined run-prevention value with a clear jump in production.
The announcement placed Bodine among a nine-player class of positional winners, which also included top prospects Franklin Arias (shortstop), Josiah Hartshorn (first base), and other ranked defensive standouts around Minor League Baseball.
