Indianapolis conducted a full practice Wednesday for its Week 9 game against Dallas, but five Colts players did not participate in the session.
The Indianapolis Colts returned to full practice Wednesday ahead of their Week 9 game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lucas Oil Stadium, according to the team’s first practice report of the week. But five players were listed as not participating in the practice session.
Wide receiver Keenan Allen was among the players who did not participate, listed as resting. Cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr. was also listed as resting.
Linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither (knee) and tight end Drew Ogletree (knee) were both inactive for the practice due to knee issues.
Cornerback Justin Walley (knee) did not participate as well. The team noted Walley missed the Colts’ Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the knee injury he sustained in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Running back Jonathan Taylor was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, while linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) and wide receiver Anthony Gould (concussion) were full participants after missing Week 8 with their respective injuries.
