Colts will mark Sunday’s Titans game with “Crucial Catch” and an Adam Vinatieri Ring of Honor induction

Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium matchup (Oct. 18) includes cancer-awareness programming and a halftime ceremony honoring Vinatieri, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026.

The Indianapolis Colts will celebrate two major occasions during their Oct. 18 home game against the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium, with the matchup presented by Ascension St. Vincent.

First, the Colts will participate in the NFL’s “Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer” initiative, including awareness and support activities for cancer survivors and fighters. The team says the event will feature cancer survivors and warriors at a pregame “Celebration of Care Breakfast,” where attendees can share stories and honor nurses, doctors, family and friends, and participants will hold the full-field American flag during the National Anthem.

Second, the Colts will induct Adam Vinatieri into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor during halftime, and the team says Vinatieri also will receive his Hall of Fame ring as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026.

The in-stadium experience is set up around those tributes, including “Anvil Striker” duties for Ring of Honor member Dallas Clark to help honor Vinatieri’s legacy. The Colts also say Heroes Foundation and Pink Ribbon Connection will have information stations in the concourses for community resources related to cancer.

For fans, the Colts announced pregame “American Family Insurance Touchdown Town” entertainment north of the stadium, plus in-arena giveaways tied to attendance, including a first-entry bonus of a Vinatieri koozie in Touchdown Town and a first-50,000 stadium-entry Vinatieri jersey rally towel.

Why It Matters

  • The Vinatieri Ring of Honor ceremony adds a marquee franchise milestone to a single home game, bringing the team’s past and present together at Lucas Oil Stadium.
  • “Crucial Catch” programming puts cancer awareness and local support organizations on the gameday stage, with survivors and regional nonprofits included in the public-facing events.
  • The halftime ceremony and related fan activities can shape the overall gameday atmosphere, even as the game itself remains the primary competitive focus for both teams.
