CVG Airport to add year-round nonstop service to Orlando via Allegiant

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is starting year-round nonstop service to Orlando, Florida, through Allegiant Air, according to WLKY.

The new direct route is designed to give travelers in northern Kentucky and the broader Cincinnati region an option to fly to Orlando without connecting flights, the station reported.

WLKY said the service is operated by Allegiant and that it will be available on a year-round basis rather than only seasonal scheduling.

The announcement follows ongoing efforts by CVG to expand nonstop destinations from Northern Kentucky, which officials and airlines often frame as a way to increase travel convenience for residents and attract visitors to the region.

For travelers, nonstop service typically changes trip planning by reducing connection time and the risk of missed transfers associated with connecting itineraries, particularly for families and groups traveling for vacations or business meetings.
