The fourth annual Football UNITES™ Jason Jenkins Days of Service ended Oct. 30 at Hard Rock Stadium, tying a month of South Florida community projects to the life and legacy of the late Dolphins communications leader.
The Miami Dolphins wrapped up the fourth annual Football UNITES™ Jason Jenkins Days of Service on Oct. 30 at Hard Rock Stadium, on what would have been Jason Jenkins’ 52nd birthday.
Team officials said the initiative, created in Jenkins’ spirit, has grown since launching in 2023 from a single-day effort into a month-long tradition that unites more than 2,300 volunteers and has positively impacted more than 181,000 people over four years.
This year’s program centered on “high-impact service projects” across South Florida, bringing together Dolphins players, alumni, cheerleaders, staff, and partners tied to Hard Rock Stadium, the Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix and the Miami Open presented by Itaú.
In 2026 alone, Dolphins said more than 650 volunteers participated in 12 community service projects, reaching nearly 65,000 people, including communities affected by natural disasters in places such as Venezuela and Colombia.
The Oct. 30 finale was a block party-style celebration of Jenkins’ birthday with music and food, plus hands-on service activities. Volunteers sorted fresh produce and distributed hot meals through Heart & Hand Outreach, community restaurant partner Seed and other partners, while also sorting books for donation to Books For You Miami and packing hygiene kits for boys in Palm Beach County schools with Talented Teen Club.
Elizabeth Jenkins, Jenkins’ wife, said in the Dolphins’ release that the recurring service month reflects “Jason’s dream” to give back to the South Florida community and emphasized the outpouring of support from the Dolphins family and local partners.
