Evangeline Lilly has joined the documentary Farmacy of Light as narrator and executive producer, according to Deadline. The film, which previously completed an award-winning festival run, has been updated to include Lilly’s narration for a forthcoming final version.

Deadline reported that the updated Farmacy of Light will be available for free global streaming from June 23 to June 27. The distribution plan centers on a limited-time window, with the narration and updated cut presented as part of the final release package.

The documentary stars Erik Cutter, whose work is presented as part of the film’s story arc. Deadline described Cutter as appearing in the feature, tying the project to his prior work on The Need To Grow, while also noting the documentary’s festival history.

As an executive producer, Lilly will be credited alongside the documentary’s existing creative team. Deadline characterized her involvement as joining the project specifically as both narrator and executive producer, indicating an expanded role beyond voice work for the final version to be streamed.

Deadline said the documentary’s festival run occurred last year and that the film’s updated final cut includes Lilly’s narration. The added narration is presented as a new element for audiences reaching the film at the time of its free streaming release.

The release schedule places the streaming window soon after the announcement, with June 23 to June 27 serving as the only dates Deadline cited for access to the final version. Viewers who watched the festival version are expected to see a different cut, reflecting the added narration included in the updated release.
