Hairball, an arena-rock tribute band, is scheduled to perform Friday, Aug. 28, at 8:00 p.m. at the Kentucky State Fair in Frankfort, according to an announcement reported by WAVE. The show is planned as a free performance for fairgoers, with attendees using their Kentucky State Fair admission rather than buying a separate concert ticket.

The event is part of the Texas Roadhouse Stage lineup at the fair grounds. WAVE reported that Louisville’s Dave Moody is bringing the Hairball act to the Kentucky State Fair as part of the statewide event’s entertainment programming.

The Kentucky State Fair runs during late summer in Frankfort and draws families and out-of-state visitors to its midway attractions, food vendors, agricultural displays, and scheduled events on multiple stages. With a start time set for 8:00 p.m., the Hairball set is timed for prime evening attendance, when fairgrounds typically see higher crowds.
