Jaguars set the 53-man roster by waiving a large group of players

Other players listed in the waiver announcements included cornerback Jabbar Muhammed, safety Devin Neal Jr., safety Cam'Ron Silmon-Craig, and safety Trevian Thomas. The Jaguars also waived running back J'Mari Taylor and offensive lineman Ricky Lee, along with offensive linemen Timothy McKay and Jimto Obidegwu.

Offensive line additions and depth players were part of the trimming as well, with offensive lineman Kilian Zierer also named in the waiver set. The Jaguars also included defensive lineman Kiser in the announced group, rounding out a multi-position set of moves designed to comply with the 53-player maximum.

What happens next is straightforward but important: players waived in roster cutdowns can be claimed by other teams, added to practice squads if eligible, or reach other opportunities depending on their contract and waiver status.
