The Tigers center fielder met fans in New York and helped showcase Baseball Lifestyle 101’s new MLB x Baseball Lifestyle Exclusive Collection, including a trio of “dripped-out” youth sweatshirts available at the MLB Flagship Store.
Max Clark spent Tuesday afternoon connecting with fans at the MLB Flagship Store in Midtown Manhattan, using the stop to highlight his off-field passion for fashion alongside his role as a Tigers center fielder.
The event centered on Baseball Lifestyle 101 (BL101), a baseball-and-streetwear brand that Clark said aims to grow the game by reaching youth. Clark participated in bringing forward a new set of apparel items as part of the MLB x Baseball Lifestyle Exclusive Collection.
BL101 released three “dripped-out” youth sweatshirts tied to the Tigers in orange and blue, with the collection positioned as available exclusively at the MLB Flagship Store. The Clark-linked line was launched May 1.
Clark described the appeal of the collaboration as giving younger fans a way to feel like they are part of baseball culture. He also emphasized that the product work is not just styling, but participation in how baseball identity shows up in streetwear.
In describing his involvement, the Tigers’ 21-year-old center fielder said he has been part of the design process from the frontlines, sharing ideas with the creative team and wearing BL101 gear since childhood. His broader fashion background includes designing his own cleats during his Minor League days, reflecting his interest in personal expression through the sport.
