Netflix has cast four additional actors in its upcoming limited series Enigma Variations, with Riley Keough, Devon Terrell, Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Nicholas Podany joining the project, Deadline reported in an exclusive announcement. The new casting brings more of the ensemble together around the series’ central adaptation, which Netflix is developing from André Aciman’s bestselling novel.

Keough, known for her work in Daisy Jones and the Six and Jay Kelly, will be part of the series as Netflix continues to assemble a cast for the adaptation. Deadline’s report did not specify which characters the actors will play, but it framed the additions as part of the expanding lineup for the limited series.

Devon Terrell, whose credits include It’s What’s Inside, Barry and The Assassin, has also been added to the cast. Deadline said Terrell will appear in the series, again without laying out character details in the report.

Deadline also reported that Carl Clemons-Hopkins, who has appeared in Hacks and Candyman, has joined Enigma Variations. Nicholas Podany, whose credits include Ponies and Saturday Night, completes the newly announced group of cast additions.

The four actors join Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who had already been announced for the limited series. Deadline’s report positioned Taylor-Johnson as part of the core cast while the four additional performers were being added as Netflix continued to finalize its ensemble.

Enigma Variations is being adapted as a limited series from Aciman’s bestselling novel. Netflix has not indicated in the Deadline report what the production schedule is, when filming will begin, or when the series will premiere.

Deadline did not include additional production details such as director or episode count in the material provided for this announcement. As Netflix continues casting and production planning, character roles and further creative team information may be clarified in subsequent industry updates.

With the cast continuing to expand, the project now has a larger slate of actors representing a range of screen and genre credits, which may influence how Netflix approaches the adaptation’s tone and storytelling structure as the limited series moves through development.
