Even without playing in Germany, Green Bay and Kansas City are offering fans in Bavaria a curated retail stop and a Packers Huddle experience during NFL week in early November.
The Green Bay Packers are bringing a Green Bay retail experience to Munich, partnering with the Kansas City Chiefs to host a three-day pop-up official team shop ahead of the NFL’s return to Germany in early November. The effort is designed to give Bavarian fans a closer look at the Packers brand, including merchandise tied to Lambeau Field traditions.
In the team’s announcement, Packers director of retail operations Chrysta Jorgensen said the activation is part of the organization’s Global Markets Program, with Germany identified as one of its partner countries. The Packers pointed to encouraging growth in international online orders from Germany and described retail as a way to continue connecting with fans there.
The Munich pop-up is not the first time the Packers tested a similar concept overseas. Jorgensen said the team ran an earlier retail trial in Berlin last year, then used what it learned to expand the idea in both size and scope for Munich.
The shop itself will offer a curated assortment of Packers merchandise, including jerseys, apparel, accessories, and ornaments. The team said the selection will mix items recognized from the Packers Pro Shop in Green Bay with products chosen specifically for the Munich market, including limited-edition Oktoberfest-themed merchandise and other Bavaria-themed items.
Packers fans in Munich will also have a separate “Packers Huddle” event on Saturday, Nov. 14, with programming, prizes, live entertainment, and the chance to meet and take photos with Packers legends Randall Cobb and Scott Wells. The Packers said the huddle will take place at Nachtkantine and asked fans to register in advance to attend.
