Rams list Joe Cardona and Colby Parkinson as Week 8 inactives vs. Chargers

The Los Angeles Rams will have a different long-snapping look when Joe Cardona is inactive for their Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Cardona was listed as doubtful leading into the matchup.

With Cardona out, Jake McQuaide is up as the Rams’ long snapper, after being elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.

Colby Parkinson will also miss the game, listed as inactive with a rib issue. Parkinson had been listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.

In addition to Cardona and Parkinson, the Rams have declared quarterback Ty Simpson (emergency third quarterback) inactive, along with offensive linemen Bill Murray and Keagen Trost, and outside linebacker Desjuan Johnson.

For the Chargers, cornerbacks Rodney Shelley and Donte Jackson are inactive, both after being listed as questionable due to hamstring injuries.
