Salesforce partners with VCARB to launch agentic AI experiences for Formula 1 fans and VIPs

The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) team will use Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 and Slack to create real-time fan engagement tools, including a new “Salesforce Intelligence Centre” powered by an AI agent that generates on-the-spot visualizations.

Salesforce and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula 1 team announced a partnership aimed at reshaping how fans and hospitality guests experience race weekends, tying together AI agents, live data, and day-to-day operations on a single platform. The program, unveiled June 22, is built around Salesforce’s Agentforce 360, which the company describes as a portfolio of AI solutions for an “Agentic Enterprise,” and it includes new fan-facing installations and community features designed for speed and personalization.

At the center of the rollout is what Salesforce calls an agentic platform that unifies fans, data, and team operations, with the goal of improving both engagement and execution from the garage to the wider fan ecosystem. The announcement says VCARB will use Agentforce 360 for real-time fan and VIP engagement, while leveraging Slack to connect its global teams and streamline workflows across race-day operations and fan community management.

Salesforce also said the partnership will debut an on-site experience called the Salesforce Intelligence Centre, displayed on garage screens. The installation is described as featuring Tableau dashboards that visualize comparative track data and historical performance metrics, giving supporters an “exclusive window into the sport” that is directly tied to how the team analyzes performance.

Inside that Intelligence Centre, Salesforce introduced “TORO,” an AI agent powered by Agentforce 360. According to the release, TORO can surface insights and generate custom data visualizations on the spot, presenting VCARB performance data in a way that is meant to bring fans closer to the decision-making and strategy that shape what happens during races.

VCARB’s use of AI is not limited to static reporting, the companies said. Looking ahead, the team plans to bring fans closer through a dedicated Slack fan community built around exclusive content, real-time collaboration, and race-weekend connection. For VIP guests, VCARB said it wants to “reimagine the Paddock Club experience” by using Agentforce 360 to help guests navigate hospitality and logistics more easily, so human support teams can focus on higher-touch moments.

The release framed the project as an extension of VCARB’s “digital-native” approach to motorsport operations and fan building. VCARB, one of two Red Bull-owned Formula 1 teams, has been described by the announcement as a talent incubator and a launch pad for drivers, with bases in Faenza, Italy and Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. Off track, the team says it has also been building a younger, more creator-driven audience through its Creator Platform and other fan initiatives.

In remarks included in the announcement, Peter Bayer, CEO of VCARB, said Formula 1 is “one of the most data-rich and fast-moving sports in the world,” and that the team’s ambition is to use that data to create deeper, more meaningful connections. Bayer said partnering with Salesforce would bring together AI, data, and real-time insights to enhance the experience across the garage and the team’s global community.

Salesforce’s Patrick Stokes, CMO, described the partnership as a demonstration of what an “Agentic Enterprise” looks like in motorsports. He said Agentforce 360 has already shown the value of unifying data, agents, and human teams at global scale, and he added that bringing Agentforce 360 into the garage is intended to set a benchmark for how teams can deploy AI for engagement and support.

What is not specified in the announcement is the depth of system integration or measurable performance targets. The release does not disclose contract terms, rollout timelines beyond the Intelligence Centre concept, data sources used for the comparative track and historical metrics, or how TORO’s on-the-spot visualizations will be governed for accuracy, latency, and user experience during live race weekends.

The partnership offers a clear window into how big-enterprise AI tools are trying to move from software adoption to visible fan-facing outcomes in live sports. Fans will be looking for how TORO and the Intelligence Centre translate into usable insight in real time, and industry watchers will likely monitor whether Salesforce and VCARB can keep the experiences reliable under race-day constraints while expanding the Slack community and VIP workflow enhancements over subsequent events.

Why It Matters

  • Sports teams are increasingly using AI not just for internal analytics, but for real-time fan and hospitality experiences that must work on tight event timelines.
  • Salesforce is using a high-profile motorsports partner to position Agentforce 360 as an agentic “operating layer” that combines dashboards, AI responses, and human workflows.
  • The project highlights a broader race among CRM and enterprise AI providers to show practical, consumer-visible outcomes from agentic systems rather than only marketing claims.
  • If delivered reliably, fan-facing agent tools such as on-the-spot visualizations could become a template for other leagues seeking differentiation without building fully custom platforms.
