After a 34-17 loss to Chicago, Seattle’s coach Mike Macdonald said running backs Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price came out of the game “OK” physically. Defensive tackle Leonard Williams suffered a stinger late in the third quarter and did not return, and outside linebacker Connor O’Toole left with a foot injury.
Seattle got back two offensive pieces for its Week 8 matchup with the Chicago Bears, with running backs Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price both returning from injuries, according to coach Mike Macdonald’s postgame update.
Charbonnet, playing for the first time since tearing his ACL last January, and Price, who missed four games on injured reserve with a chest injury, were both limited by workload upon their return. The pair combined for 16 carries for 52 yards in the game.
Macdonald said he believed both running backs came out of the contest without major physical setbacks, describing them as “OK” after the game and indicating the next step was monitoring how they felt in the days ahead.
On the defensive side, Seattle took a late-game hit when defensive tackle Leonard Williams exited with a stinger in the third quarter and did not return to the field.
Macdonald also reported that outside linebacker Connor O’Toole left the game with a foot injury, adding another item to watch as the Seahawks progress into the next week.
Overall, Macdonald framed the running-back returns as an important step in their recovery, while the staff awaited updates on Williams and O’Toole after the game.
