Seahawks’ Mike Macdonald lays out return timelines for Anthony Bradford and Jadarian Price after Denver loss

Seattle’s coach says right guard Anthony Bradford, on injured reserve, has a strong chance to return this week, while rookie RB Jadarian Price needs at least one more game before he can come back. Other injury notes include TE Elijah Arroyo’s shoulder tests and a status update for Zach Charbonnet.

After the Seahawks’ Week 6 loss in Denver, coach Mike Macdonald addressed the expected timelines for several key injuries and what that could mean for Seattle’s next practice block. Coming off a Thursday game, the team has a weekend off before returning to work on Monday.

On injured reserve, right guard Anthony Bradford is eligible to return next week after missing the previous four games. Macdonald said Bradford has “a really good chance of being back this week,” giving Seattle a pathway to strengthen an important interior spot if the process clears in time.

Macdonald also sounded cautiously optimistic about rookie running back Jadarian Price. Price remains on injured reserve and, per the coach, must miss at least one more game before he can return. Macdonald described Price’s progress as “great” and indicated the team could be “looking at a sooner-rather-than-later return after this game.”

For Zach Charbonnet, Macdonald said there was no update at the time of the interview. Charbonnet had returned to practice but had not yet been activated from the physically unable to perform list.

Seattle’s injury report also included tight end Elijah Arroyo, who exited Thursday’s game with a shoulder injury. Macdonald said Arroyo was scheduled to undergo tests on Friday, with no further update available yet while imaging and evaluation were pending.

Why It Matters

  • Bradford’s potential return could stabilize Seattle’s offensive line availability for the stretch ahead, depending on how quickly the team moves through return steps.
  • Price’s “at least one more game” timeline sets expectations for Seattle’s backfield rotation, even as Macdonald suggested a possible earlier-than-later return after the next game.
  • Charbonnet’s practice status but delayed activation points to how the physically unable to perform process can still limit roster flexibility.
  • Arroyo’s shoulder evaluation leaves uncertainty around tight end depth in the immediate week-to-week planning.
