Seahawks will don 90s throwback uniforms again on Sunday Night Football vs. Chiefs
Seattle will wear its fan-favorite royal blue and silver look for the second straight week, continuing a throwback run that began in 2023.
The Seattle Seahawks will wear their royal blue and silver throwback uniforms for their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7 of the 2026 season, according to a team announcement published October 21.
It will mark the second consecutive week Seattle has used the throwback set.
The Seahawks said the uniform is the same “fan-favorite” style the franchise debuted in the 2023 regular season, and that Sunday’s game will be the ninth time Seattle has worn it since then.
The team noted it wore the throwbacks three times last season, including one prime-time game, a 38-14 road win over the Commanders in Week 9.
Why It Matters
- Uniform decisions can shift how home and prime-time games feel for a team’s fan base, and Seattle is leaning into a recognizable look on a national stage.
- Because the Seahawks are using the throwbacks back-to-back, the team is treating the set as a recurring identity piece rather than a one-off tribute.
- Wearing the throwbacks in a high-profile matchup against the Chiefs adds extra spotlight to a design that has become a regular fan favorite since 2023.
