Georgia’s recent run matters because it resets the competitive baseline for every other program in the league. In a division that typically rewards depth and continuity, an SEC champion that returns to the field with the same target on its back becomes the measuring stick for preseason expectations, recruiting momentum, and week-to-week preparation.
