Titans cut DL Jordan Elliott after facility incident, add DB Erick Hallett to practice squad
Tennessee announced the release of defensive lineman Jordan Elliott and made two practice-squad adjustments on Tuesday.
The Tennessee Titans released defensive lineman Jordan Elliott on Tuesday following a team facility incident earlier in the week, according to a statement from the club.
In the announcement, the Titans said the incident at the team facility occurred on Thursday, Oct. 15, and that after reviewing it the team decided to release Elliott from its roster, adding that it would have no further comment on the matter.
The Titans also adjusted their practice squad. Defensive back Erick Hallett was signed to the practice squad, while linebacker Chase Wilson was waived from the practice squad.
Tennessee said it will return to action on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns at Nissan Stadium.
Why It Matters
- The move changes Tennessee’s defensive front and reduces the organization’s options at defensive line.
- The practice-squad transactions reshuffle development reps, with a new defensive back (Hallett) joining and a linebacker (Wilson) leaving.
- The Titans now have a short window to integrate practice-squad additions before their Sunday game versus Cleveland.
