With the World Series finished, a group of players ranked on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects list have been producing early in offseason action across the Dominican Winter League, the Venezuelan Winter League, and the Mexican Pacific League.
While major-league attention shifts to the offseason, MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects are getting meaningful game time in winter ball, and the early results show a mix of established power bats, base-running pressure, and promising bullpen work. The notable update from MLB Pipeline highlights nine Top 100 names plus other up-and-comers seeing action in the first weeks of play.
Jesús Made (Tigres del Licey) has gotten off to a strong start in the Dominican Winter League, slashing.318/.423/.409 through 52 plate appearances. The profile emphasizes plate discipline early, with eight walks and six strikeouts.
Alfredo Duno (Leones del Caracas) represents a different kind of winter-ball story, trying to find consistency after missing time in the regular season with a hamstring strain. Through 52 plate appearances, he has hit.186 with a.653 OPS.
Roldy Brito (Gigantes del Cibao) has combined gap power with speed, beginning the winter with a.305/.361/.455 line between levels in 2026 and then hitting.267 to start in the Dominican Winter League. MLB Pipeline also points to base-running upside from his prior affiliated-ball work (15 triples and 76 steals in his first two full seasons).
New York’s top prospect in this reporting, Jefferson Rojas (also with Gigantes del Cibao), has shown that the transition to a new organization has not slowed him down in winter-ball action, with a pair of home runs and a.807 OPS through 31 plate appearances after a productive 2026 regular season in affiliated ball.
The list is not only about hitting. Tony Rossi (Tomateros de Culiacán) has started quickly as a reliever, posting an 0.87 ERA with eight strikeouts and two walks over 10 1/3 innings in the Mexican Pacific League.
Other position players highlighted in the same update include Aron Estrada (Aguilas del Zulia) at.377/.419/.536, Victor Arias (Aguilas del Zulia) at.362/.422/.483, and Omar Alfonzo (Caribes de Anzoátegui) leading winter leaguers in the report with a 1.433 OPS, supported by five home runs and nine walks to eight strikeouts.
