Total Force Resilience Campaign: Prepare Today. Protect Tomorrow.

This September, the Army launches the inaugural Total Force Resilience Campaign (TFRC), a decisive effort to transition emergency preparedness from a passive administrative requirement into an active element of warfighting resilience and mission assurance. Aligned with the National Resilience Strategy 2026, this campaign emphasizes that a prepared force is our nation's greatest strategic advantage during rapidly evolving, all-hazard emergencies.

Our theme, “Prepare Today. Protect Tomorrow,” establishes that effective readiness must be engineered long before a crisis occurs. Rather than relying on static checklists, the Total Force - including Soldiers, Civilians, Contractors, and Families - must take proactive steps to harden our communities. Implementing tested family communication plans, updating unit recall rosters, and maintaining 72-hour sustainment kits are critical actions that directly insulate our personnel, preserve combat power, and secure installation operations.

Preparedness is a shared responsibility that directly multiplies the speed and effectiveness of our response during an emergency. By staying alert, adhering to installation-specific emergency plans, and utilizing integrated command communication systems, we significantly increase our ability to protect lives, maintain operational continuity, and rapidly recover from any disruption.

To support these campaign efforts, all personnel, leaders, and emergency managers are encouraged to leverage the specialized resources detailed below, align unit-level activities with local garrison emergency management plans, and integrate these preparedness tools into their ongoing readiness routines.
