Trent McDuffie is inactive as Rams set Week 6 inactives vs. Cardinals
Los Angeles will be without cornerback Trent McDuffie for Sunday’s game at SoFi Stadium after he was listed with a groin designation.
The Rams have ruled cornerback Trent McDuffie out of their Week 6 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. McDuffie was listed as inactive with a groin designation for Sunday’s 1:05 p.m. PT kickoff at SoFi Stadium.
Along with McDuffie, Los Angeles also listed wide receiver CJ Daniels Jr., wide receiver Tutu Atwell, and quarterback Ty Simpson (as the emergency third quarterback) as inactive.
The Rams’ inactive list for the game also included defensive end Larrell Murchison and offensive lineman Bill Murray.
Why It Matters
- McDuffie’s absence removes a key member of the Rams’ defensive secondary rotation for the week.
- With multiple skill-position players listed inactive, Los Angeles will have a different weekly personnel mix on offense and special packages.
- The inactives can affect coverage and pass-rush matchups against Arizona’s passing and route combinations.
