UFC is moving to a new media home in the Philippines, with ESPN on Disney+ set to become the exclusive place to watch UFC events live under a multi-year agreement announced Monday. The new arrangement is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Oct. 24, starting with UFC 333: Vokanovski vs Evloev.

Beyond live event broadcasts, UFC said the partnership will also include a curated slate of original programming. The announced shows include UFC Countdown, UFC Connected, The Ultimate Fighter, and ROAD TO UFC, which UFC described as a tournament that offers Asia-Pacific MMA prospects a pathway to UFC.

For the UFC 333 launch broadcast, UFC said prelims are scheduled for 10 p.m. PHT and the main card for 2 a.m. PHT, with the event airing live from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

UFC positioned the deal as a way to bring its content to “one of the most passionate and engaged combat sports fanbases” in the Philippines, and framed ESPN as expanding UFC’s reach across Asia Pacific through ESPN’s presence on Disney+.

Why It Matters

  • Philippine fans will get a single, platform-based destination for UFC live events through Disney+ and ESPN.
  • The inclusion of ROAD TO UFC indicates a deeper local-to-regional development pipeline presented as part of the viewing package, not just the main fights.
  • With the deal launching alongside UFC 333, UFC is effectively tying a new rights era to a marquee card headliner to maximize early audience migration.
