Baltimore will get a key interior presence back when rookie guard Vega Ioane is listed with no designation on the final injury report and practiced fully this week. Cornerback Nate Wiggins is questionable for illness, while Jacksonville’s top running back is a possible game-time decision.
The Ravens’ offensive line is set to receive a lift for Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with rookie guard Vega Ioane expected to play after missing one game with a knee injury.
In Baltimore’s weekly injury update, Ioane is not listed with a designation on Wednesday’s final report and was a full practice participant on both days this week, after previously being sidelined due to the knee injury.
The Ravens’ injury picture also reflects why Ioane’s return matters: Baltimore is managing quarterback availability issues, including absence of Lamar Jackson (thumb) and Tyler Huntley (toe), and the team has to protect Joe Fagnano as he is expected to start Thursday night.
Baltimore’s coaching staff also pointed to run-game urgency, noting Derrick Henry has averaged 3.5 yards per carry over the past two games, as the offensive line works to stabilize both pass protection and the ground attack.
On the defensive side, Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins missed Wednesday’s practice due to illness and is considered questionable, while safety Jaylinn Hawkins (knee) is reported out for a third straight game.
For Jacksonville, the injury update centers on whether Bhayshul Tuten, the team’s leading rushing option referenced in the report, can go. Head coach Liam Coen is cited as saying Tuten may be a game-time decision after not practicing all week with ankle/foot injuries.
