The June 28 event, billed by UFC as Zuffa Boxing 08, is headlined by De Los Santos vs. Valenzuela at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
UFC’s Zuffa Boxing brand is set to deliver another Las Vegas night of fights, with an official card announced for June 28 at The Cosmopolitan. The event, labeled “Zuffa Boxing 08,” centers on a featured matchup between De Los Santos and Valenzuela, staged for an audience in one of the Strip’s most recognizable venues.
The announcement, published by UFC, frames the night as a full fight-card program rather than a single featured bout, with the headliner anchoring what the promotion calls a card that “demands your attention.” While the official release confirms the main pairing and the location and date, it does not, in the details provided here, break out the full set of undercard matchups in a way that can be independently verified for this write-up.
For fans, the key immediate takeaway is the matchmaking structure: a featured title-level showcase between De Los Santos and Valenzuela, supported by additional fights under the same Zuffa Boxing umbrella. In events like this, undercard bouts often carry the most long-term value for fighters, because they can determine who earns future opportunities and who becomes a regular on the promotion’s schedule.
The choice of The Cosmopolitan matters too. Located in the heart of Las Vegas, the venue is built for televised boxing and combat-sport pacing, with a crowd experience that is more intimate than a large arena, yet still positioned for a major-market audience. That mix can influence how promoters schedule bouts across a night, often keeping the action flowing so the card maintains momentum from the opening rounds through the main event.
Because this report is anchored to UFC’s official announcement and the publicly visible details provided, the safest approach is to treat anything beyond the confirmed headliner, date, and venue as unverified until the complete fight-card breakdown is reviewed. That includes specifics such as weight classes, bout order, and the full lineup of matchups, which can affect how fans evaluate the competitive balance of the event.
What to watch next is straightforward: UFC’s next update should provide the complete official fight-card list for Zuffa Boxing 08, allowing bettors and fans alike to map out the night’s storyline. With De Los Santos vs. Valenzuela confirmed as the focal point, the event’s undercard will likely reveal which fighters the promotion is elevating alongside the headliner heading into later summer.
