Source Policy

Attribution first, no full-article rewrites

The Apex Times uses public RSS and Atom feeds to discover stories, show headlines, display short source excerpts, and link readers back to the original outlet.

Source-linked briefs are generated from limited feed metadata and approved backend records. They are not substitutes for the original reporting and should not copy or closely paraphrase full articles.

Most Apex briefs are drafted with AI assistance and checked against attached source records before publication. The article page identifies AI-assisted coverage and links to the material used to prepare it. Human review, multi-source verification, and original reporting are required before a brief is presented as independently reported work.

Military coverage is handled more narrowly: Apex uses official Department of War, service-branch, and selected federal source feeds, links back to the original government release, transcript, publication, contract notice, or news story, and may display official War.gov article text directly instead of rewriting it.
