Ian McKellen shares on-set anecdote in Rome, says he ‘imagined’ destroying Mar-a-Lago in upcoming Avengers film

At an open-air film festival in Rome, Sir Ian McKellen told an audience of about 2,000 people that he had pictured destroying Mar-a-Lago as part of his work on the upcoming superhero release Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for December. The actor said the exchange came from his time on the set and his character work for the franchise.
